Asparagus and peas....

This year we got our first harvest of Asparagus and I was really excited because we planted them a couple of years ago and never got anything but ferns. This year I weeded the bed because I put in some Black-eyed Susy. Low and behold, we got a bunch of Asparagus. Maybe the weeds hid them and they were there all along.

I also planted some Sweet Peas and harvested some of them too. They looked so good that I just had to paint them.

They made a yummy omelet!
