Mine were done in acrylics and done spontaneously. Acrylics are stonger in color because you don't mix them with a lot of water. They also dry darker, whereas in watercolor they dry lighter.
There were two pretty shamrock type of plants at the Gallery. Bored while I was sitting, I got a canvas, and some acrylics in the three prime colors. I squeezed a blob of each on the canvas and then went to it.

The yellow flower was done at home in a similar manner. It's lots of fun to just let loose and go where it leads you!

The auction was a huge success raising $3,600 for the Gallery to be used for future operational expenses.
