A good summer for painting....

This 2018 summer was a good time to just relax and enjoy my art and my studio. With all the heat, rains and yes, mosquitoes, I just was very happy to stay indoors. I wasn't bored though, since I was inspired to try new ideas and techniques with my painting. Mostly I tried new combinations of colors in an almost abstract way. I had so much fun with this that I didn't realize how many paintings I did this summer.

I gathered them all together into one photo and I will display them here. Matted they each fit nicely into an 11"x14" frame.

Tomorrow I begin a new series of "Watercolor with Jean" classes and I have six students signed up for my classes.
